Boring race for MotoGP. With Vale gone it's as interesting as watching grass grow.

Re: MotoGP Catalunya
Indeed, Carmelo Morales was extremely lucky! Seeing how the bike hit him in the back, I was really worried for the outcome, but having read an interview with him this morning it seems he only suffered bruising. Other than that, the moto2 race was okay, but I have seen better. For starters, the huge crash in turn 1 obviously did not help, and then the race directors totally screwing things up in trying to apply a penalty to Iannone. He passed under yellow, and should have gotten a drive through. Instead they try to demote him from first, and the team as well as the race directors struggled for half the race to try and explain the penalty to the rider!! Then, finally, the changed their minds, and they went with the drive through. I think I have never seen anything so stupid even in F1!
MotoGP is missing Vale, but I don't really agree with you da silva. Dovi taking the fight to Lorenzo was good, until he crashed out which obviously gave an easy win to Lorenzo. Also, Pedrosa would have been able to fight up front as well if he had not lost it in turn 1. Going in that hard with cold carbon brakes is a bit stupid... But generally, with or without Vale, I think MotoGP has gotten boring. There are simply not enough riders there, and even fewer factory bikes that have a chance of winning a race. Compared with WSBK, MotoGP really has nothing!
It's a good thing they created Moto2!

Re: MotoGP Catalunya
The need to run a 3rd factory bike. The Motogp grid looks tiny compared to Moto2
