Thanks Henrik....I was freaking out with the going's on in racing and only a bunch of trolls to yell at. Now we can get back to yelling at TC, Raptor, and that real shit starter....Dani!

Big thumbs up for Henrik!! Things were so desperate H8R had to call me....ME! Now that's desperate.
Heads up- reading forum rules before clicking "I agree" box, French law about libel and harassment apply- not sure if it will impact my behavior.
Need to work on my profile and stuff....... Tonight.
Again- thanks!!

Thanks Glendo! I lost track...and I'm stoked that the core group has stayed on this for over a decade. I saw your other thread...I think I will go check the old forums for a laugh.
Geuze....thanks for answering when I called...I was going to burst. Fabrizio takes out The Ben, Rain race at Doni for MotoGP, M$ comes back to F1....I was in serious trouble....like I was going to have a Stroke if I didn't talk about it!

Re: Thanks Henrik!
Yes, definitely a big o'l Thanks should go out to Henrik...
THANK YOU!
Glendo, THANKS for remembering & mentioning the Monster (from the old F1-Live forum)...ROFL. That cracks me up reading the list...it's almost a religious experience in itself, seeing them all written at one time, Shamuism at it's finest right there people, pay attention!!!
Wow, where has time gone...
Oh great Shamu, thanks for helping me find my way back here...especially after the terrible spin the Mighty Takagi sent my life into for the past few years....a-men.
Why does this forum always feel like it should be a script out of some whacked out Monty Python skit???
THANK YOU!

Re: Thanks Henrik!
Getting better every day, thanks for asking...all sorts of crazy family issues w/ kids and colleges (really just trying to pay for it all...LOL) and then on the opposite spectrum some members getting older to the point of passing on. It's all life, no complaints!
I picked up a new hobby...try'n to spend as much time at the track as possible on a little R6 I picked up about two years ago. You know me, I figure if it's good enough for Michael Schumacher, then it's good enough for me!!!
Definitely a funny story behind all this(R6 vs R1 and track days), but I'll save it for a later post...

Re: Thanks Henrik!
Definitely...I just bought two pair of Corsa-IIIs to run next week-end (Nov 8th), but I appreciate the offer!!!
I have actually missed this place...am laughing with each and every thread I get caught up on...
Good to see you're doing well! Congrats on your little ones!!!!
I just drove through Arizona two months ago, and LOVED it...but then again, I like ROCKS!!! LOL...anyways, the people seemed nice and the climate is GREAT for riding!!!
When I went in to buy the bike, I asked the guy for all the info on their R1. He's the General Mgr of the store and asks "Why the R1?" I tell him well, maybe because I'm 6'2" tall, weigh 236 pounds and I doubt the R6 can carry my weight like the R1 can. After he's done laughing, he asks what type of riding will I be doing...commuting, highway, twisties, etc, etc. I tell him I have a cabin in the hill country right off the (what I call it) Asphalt Roller Coaster...so it'll be a play thing, plus any track days I can squeeze in. He laughs again and says "I'm going to do you a favor and save you a thousand bucks." He proceeds to explain the nimbleness of the R6 vs the Litre bikes, and light weight & whatnot...by the time he's done I picked the beautiful gray one that matches the color of my car...looks like they came from the same paint lot! I'm all excited and take it to the cabin. Practice, practice practice, and eventually have confidence to run the "Twisted Sisters" on a regular basis. One day my wifey comes out for a ride in the convertible with my daughter...I blow past them with a few friends in tow on the R6. When I get back to the cabin the wife claims:
You look like a Gorilla humping a unicycle!
Wow, thanks honey...ROFLMAO...there's the description I was looking for!!!
Anyways, I do look pretty big on it...I don't have any troubles catching the litre bikes at the track, however some tend to walk away from me once we've hit the straights...
Anyways, thought you'd enjoy the description the misses tagged me with. Too freaking funny....
OK, I need to get some work done. I will be in touch!
Catch you later,
RacerX

Hey DaSilva, Henrik, greg99 & TC...Thanks for the warm welcome back! It's greatly appreciated!!!
Yes, two wheels...it's more fun than four...except when you're doing the Takagi imitation...LOL!
I'll have to start a new thread: Diaries of a Mad Man somewhere on here, and get you all caught up on what exactly did happen six years ago & why RacerX disappeared for soooooo long...LOL! Give me time....it'll come.
You all be good...great to be back!
Later,
RacerX
