World Cup 2010
Wow nobody had brought this up yet. This is going to be one odd tournament. No Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, or that Spiceboy Beckham. I hope Brazil knows what they are doing
Now Drogba is out.

Why would Brazil care if Drogba is in or out?

Henrik,
You should really watch F1, since 2007 we have been in a golden era. The racing and the on track drama have been better than I ever remember. Just my opinion of course.

They won't. It is just odd seeing another high profile player out.

Re: World Cup 2010
Ronaldo? He's been out of shape for a while now. But I agree that there is a large number of high profile players that will be missing the world cup. Either way, I'm hyped! It's the world cup!
I'm putting my money on Spain.

England, wot a shower of cnuts, that performance reminds me of why we went on the rampage in Spain '82, after our last game, ironically, against Spain.

It's the English fans who have the problem, let go of your love for the queen and then you"ll enjoy the games!

Fuck the Queen and all her family of parasites who leech off the public purse, come the revolution, I would volunteer to pull the trigger on every one of them as they were lined up against the wall. You can put Lennon, Minter, Gerrard, Lampard and Heskey in with them as well.

Best team so far: Germany.
Biggest disappointment: France-Uruguay. What the fuck was THAT?
As for England, you fuckers better make the final. I've got money on you.

Good lord, the heavy hitters keep pulling draws, and now the Swiss stuck it to Spain.

if they so much as followed the game with those things it would be half as grating... most unwatchable world cup ever....

Re: World Cup 2010
Argentina finally looked like contenders today. Their defense is still their weak point but I see them going to quarterfinals, against Germany possibly.

Two computers. One with ESPN360, one with work. And by work I mean, something that looks like work.
Besides, my boss is also doing the same thing.

Re: World Cup 2010
TC,
how do you have time to do something else ?
Last night, I watched France-Mexico on TF1: the french broadcaster...
By 80 minutes, they were pratically crying...
Their pain added to my delight...
Nothing like the taste of squished frogs...except maybe burned roastbeef (hint, hint England...)...

care to take that back?glendo wrote:... germany not so big and bad now!
As for the US loss, I am mad at the defender who peeled off after he was bumped during that 2nd goal.
The good news is that the World Cup pulled big ratings here in the States.
