Having just posted that, I notice the time comes up in your countries time, so back to the drawing board.

Hmm, I guess I didn't really think it all the way through.

The old FPOTM used to be run at CET. This went back to the old days of the very first F1-Live forum which was running at CET. Since the very first FPOTM competion was held on there, that is the time-zone that stuck. Later when Wycco developed the specific FPOTM site, the same time was kept for the competition.

Now I am not sure how to apply that here unless we all agree to set the time fixed. I think that I can modify the time you see to be either your time zone or a fixed one.

Meanwhile, and it looks like Eso is today's winner with his 00:54hrs entry...  

Well no, because my entry was at 0:00 Central European Time. Eso's was at 1:54.

Ergo, not on 1st February.

It's the same reason why Insurance Cover is detailed as starting at 00:01hrs on a date - saves arguments...  

So the benchmark is Central European Time.

So I'm currently 9 hours behind that clock. I'd be looking for FPOTM before I go to bed...

Going back to the old FPOTM rules, it is the first post after midnight. So, 00:00:01, or even 00:00:001 etc. is valid. At its most active, FPOTM would certainly be won by a 10th of a second.

I never participated in that, but I know about it well. It was a while before your time gelert.
