I admit I am a bit conflicted with this one. I am not a Lorenzo fan, but he has been a straight trooper with a slower bike, busted collar bone, etc. I guess I would rather see him win it all, and make the kid come back next year.

I figure if Lorenzo takes this one, it one less Marquez will win in his career. I don't want him surpassing Vale. I figure Lorenzo won't win to many more so I am safe there.

Wow now, Rossi has split with burgess.

Yeah, but they are leaving on good terms. Personally I think Rossi should also quit and focus on his VR46 Moto3 team with Fenati.

There is a new king! Marquez is truly awesome, and his title is so well deserved.

What a great climax to the 2013 championships in all classes over the last few races...wouldn't believe it if you didn't see it.

Despite being annoyed at the Phillip Island race being shortened (was down there for the day), the drama in the race more than made up for it.

I feel bad because I didn't make it ti a single race in 2013. Must make up for that next year...

I was standing on the entry into Stoner Corner.
Fuckin hell. I've seen a fair bit of motor-racing, but I was blown out of the water. Those boys, especially MotoGP, hanging onto a sliding bike through there...hanging on for dear life while the rear is starting to kick. I had my heart in my mouth on countless times. Marquez especially was noticeably quicker (if not quickest) than most through there (surprise surprise).

Nice place to be! When we have been to the Island, we usually end up by Honda, and then you can easily walk down to Siberia as well.

A few years back I did the superbike school there the week after the GP, and just seeing all the black slide marks in some of those corners when you thought you were going fast was very humbling.
