GP of Hungary 2011
Well, I didn't manage to get up at 5:00am to watch Germany and it sounds like I missed a good race.
So what will Hungary have in store for us? Has Macca made a significant jump in performance? Ferarri? Is Red Bull dropping the ball?

Re: GP of Hungary 2011
most likely another Hungarian parade after the first lap.... unless it rains, of course. Could hAMILTON BeAT vETTEL TO THE FIRST CORNER? a BAD PIT STOP MAYBE?
Could gueuze fix his caps lock?
All will be answered tomorrow.
And if Vettel does win, when will he win the championship mathematically?
I'll be up so I'll watch.

Re: GP of Hungary 2011
The GP2 & 3 races in the dry yesterday were yawn-fests.
BUT, the GP3 race in the rain this morning was a THRILLER - despite Carlton Kirby*'s best efforts to ruin it.
Coverage of this morning's GP2 hasn't been shown yet, so please, no spoilers!
Rain forecast for the F1 - so the procession shouldn't happen.
*Carlton Kirby - probably THE worst motorsport commentator in the world.

Well, I didn't get up for this one either... I did roll over and look at the clock at 5:25 this morning and I thought really hard about getting up.
Then I rolled back over and before I knew it the clock was indicating 7:00...
I feel better with some sleep and no race than the other way around right now.

Fantastic race, one of the best Hungarian GPs in it's 27 odd year history.

Re: GP of Hungary 2011
The delay in Heidfeld's pistop (wheel nut problem) meant Quick Nick was on the limiter for a good 10 seconds which over-heated the exhaust surrounding bodywork causing it to catch alight. The explosion was most likely the very hot nitrogen bottle used for the pneumatic valves being doused with the fire extinghuisher foam. Initially I thought it may have been a KERS battery pack but have since learned they are not stored in the sidepods.
