Have you had much experience of magnesium boards on your projects.

Also, what was the product used (plasterboard) that caused so many illnesses and house owners are now suing some building companies?

Chineese drywall (plasterboard). Full of sulphur, melting wiring, electrical fixtures, air conditioners, appliances, pretty much a full gut and rebuild. Mostly in the southeast I believe, Florida to Texas.

Gueuze is correct about the Chinese drywall being the latest bogeyman in building. What I find surprising is that anyone is surprised. When them bottom line is all one cares about and the products are sourced from unregulated 3rd world production to meet that bottom line the likely hood of questionable content is nearly 100% in my book... You get what you pay for after all.
