The ING Renault F1 Team has announced that it will not dispute the recent allegations made by the FIA concerning the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix. It also wishes to state that its managing director, Flavio Briatore and its executive director of engineering, Pat Symonds, have left the team.

Before attending the hearing before the FIA World Motor Sport Council in Paris on 21 September 2009, the team will not make any further comment.

Wonder who the replacements will be.

Looks like Renault finally found "Function 13" to toss Flabbio.

Does this mean perhap[s that ING Renault is planning to stick around and compete next year/ That would be good.

Flabbio and pat out, also good, but the Flab was/is a great character.

And I really suspect that he will not be gone from F1, I mean Mosley stayed after his whipping, but perhaps it is different since that didn't happen on the track.

OK, I just read the radio transcript given on Autosport, and Flav is hilarious! I truly think he had no clue what was going to happen. Symonds, on the other hand....

Flavio Briatore said his "dignity and freedom" had been restored by the decision to overturn his indefinite ban from motorsport.

"I would like to express my great joy with the decision handed down by the Paris Tribunal de Grande Instance," he said, adding he had been reluctant to take the FIA to court but had been left with no alternative. "The fact that the World Motor Sport Council had been utilised to deal with a personal agenda aimed at pushing me out of the world of competition left me no other choice.

"The decision handed down today restores to me the dignity and freedom that certain people had arbitrarily attempted to deprive me of."

He said he had no immediate plans to return to F1, and that view was endorsed by Bernie Ecclestone. "I said at the time that even murderers don't get life sentences these days and the court seems to agree," he said. "He is welcome to come back to the paddock. He was a great character in F1 but I am not sure if that is what he wants to do now.

Not so fast, FIA is considering a plan to require team principals to have licenses, just like the drivers and it's up to them who gets a license or not.

I can't wait until Flav sues Max. We could see some real skeletons come out in that lawsuit.

Like Max helping Flav and Benetton avoid the massive cheating they engaged in throughout 1994? I doubt Flav is that foolish.

i hope max and flav let it all hang out, as bernie may get shot in the crossfire.
