So, I saw Hary came fourth in the first race. I was really hoping he would be able to close in and get a podium there in the end.

However I am not sure what happened there for the second race. I missed the start, and then saw he was like several laps down. Was it a DNF?

This is the report from JDR (Jack Dex Racing) who Harry drives for when in the UK Been a pleasure having UAE driver Harry Hannam over with us this summer. Proving he can be at the front of some of the biggest UK races.
P4 in the pre final at the E plate was an impressive drive but getting driven over on the early laps of the main final put a stop to a chance of the podium.

Just unlucky.

Yes, he did well, Jack (the team owner) said it is a pity Harry is not living in England as he would benefit from the regular competition with the UK's top drivers. Harry stays with Jack and his girlfriend when he goes over unaccompanied to race.

Well done Henrik, enjoy October. We have had a very wet few weeks her, but WHEN the sun is out is is nice.
Harry has just been signed by the sporting section of the Dubai Government and will be racing under their sponsorship (but with the same mechanical set-up management) Dan is glad to have someone else pickup the bills   . Will keep you updated.

Wow, here September has been sunny, hot and dry all the way through. I think the average temperature has been 4° over the norm, and it looks like October is off to the same.

I bet Dan is happy for the new sponsorship!! That is great for Harry.

So, not being able to sleep, I just realized that it is now November! Granted, not in Ireland yet, but FPOTM rules dictate that it is CET that applies!

Congratulations on the snow and the first post of the last month of the year. Big week coming up for Harry, he is in Bahrain all next week for the Rotax Word Grand Final. He qualified by winning a race earlier in the season but was told he would be to old for that class (Junior Max) by the time the finals were to be held, but they have now offered him a chance to drive in the Senior Max, which he has taken. He was practicing in the new kart DD2 last week and had a few good runs. I will post links to you (although you can probably find them yourself.

Very cool news for Harry! I always wanted to have a go in a DD2, as being a 2 stroke Rotax it has the advantage of having two gears which compensates a bit for the lack of torque lower down the revs. Sounds great!

In other news, I got fired yesterday after over 13 years with my bank. As I am turning 59 in March, it is pretty crappy as it will be very difficult to find somebody willing to hire me now. It basically is the result of the bank hiring a bunch of people from Credit Suisse following their demise, and now I end up being a casualty. Such is life...

Henrik, That is very bad news about your job, I hope you find something new soon/when you are ready.
