No thread on here about this yet as I was late in watching the races.

Man I love the flow of that track! It looks like it would be total extacy to ride around there, lap after lap, and watching the racing from Monday made me want to do it even more. Brilliant images (it's amazing how HD has improved the pleasure of watching racing), with good racing.

It has been said that Miller Park has a design that really does not favour close racing. Granted race 1 may have been a bit spread out for the most part, but race 2 was just incredible! Checa was about to run away with it, but I suppose his fall showed how hard he was really pushing to be there, and then we got a great fight with Melandri, Rea, Davies (where did he come from?!) and Biaggi. Rea was simply stunning here, and watching in close detail how hard he was pushing it through the corners had me drooling! Biaggi kept making his customary mistakes, and Melandri was smart about it this time and kept enough in the tires to power past Rea in the last two laps and keep the first spot. And Chaz on the Aprilia was showing Max how it should be done!

All around great stuff.

Henrik...the track is betting then you can imagine. I made money with a bunch of podiums at that track. It's one of the few tracks that I've been on where the track itself has such good grip, and so little stuff to hit that you actually talk to yourself the whole time about how much faster you can go.

Each of the garages have their own bathrooms, heat and air! For the States it's really like no other place.

With that being said. It is normally windy as hell, and it gets cold and hot sometimes on the same day. The wind, it's worth mentioning it again, is a bitch there. I've been down that front straight at 180mph leaning to the left the whole time so I could go straight. Of all the races I've won and got trophies at...My second place cup from "The Masters of the Mountain" series is the only one out for people to see.

The Yamaha champions school teaches there Henrik...I'd suggest to anyone who wants to learn more about sportbike riding or racing...that is the place to do it.

Now for the race.

Can't believe Checa crashed. Stoked for Melandri. Stoked for Chaz. But it was a bit of a let down after the barn burner at Donnington. I know that is a personal issue for me. LOL

Oh ya...and for god sake...can someone get the tire wear figured out on the Kawi...Poor Sykes, that must be driving him insane.

Did you see that serious blackie Rea put down at one point! I was like "FAAAAK!", and thought he would be backing off a bit after that. But no, the next corner he was back at it.

Yeah, Sykes must be a bit frustrated even if he is always smiling (5-2=3!).
