8th May 1982

Post by PLAYLIFE on Tue May 08 2012, 10:39

8th May 1982, Zolder, Belgium

Today we do not remember the passing of Gilles Villeneuve but we commemorate the birth of his Legend.

In Fiorano today, Jacques Villeneuve will be driving his father's 1979 Ferrari 312T4 around the circuit in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of his father's passing.

Rest In Peace, lapping upstairs with the other greats
Gilles #27 Forever!!!

Gilles Villeneuve - Nature's Law

Survived by his wife and two young children, Jacques and Melanie

One of the unforgettables.

Nice to see pictures of F1 cars going sidways! Reminds me of Ronnie who left a few years earlier...
