i met mark webber today!

as you all know i live in mark's home town of queanbeyan. he is here visiting his family, and today they had a town tribute parade for him, lots of school kiddies around etc. etc. he walked the parade and then into a corporate lunch held by the local mayor for him. i didnt stick around for the hype.

well after the parade, i went home and then back to see the real estate. well the parade had long disappeared, and the car park of the real estate banks onto the the conference centre.... out the front with his family was mark webber himself!

i walked passed and said hi, he shook my hand and did the good PR thing. his family look a bit sick and tired of the media and fan hype. i kept going, but that doesnt happen everyday now does it!?

Nice. I'm sure a few days at home with thew family is a nice change for him. And then he can't wait to leave and go drive...

Since it isn't the theatre, I hope you didn't tell him to break a leg.
