Monza 2013
Way thin on the ground here...
Hey-ho: I'm as much to blame as the rest of us....
Well - things are heating-up here at chez Gelert.
I've got Finger-Boy in my team, and as Captain...and yet GelertGF is really starting to hate him, and vocally.
So - impending divorce, or risk being beaten by DannyBoy...?
Decisions, decisions...
But not as complex as Ferrari's current crop of Home Politics, shurely!!
Will Nando still be at Ferrari come next season?
And will Massa be there - or Hulkenberg?
Thunderstorms predicted during the race tomorrow.
And at Prancing Horse Ltd. too, I suspect.

Re: Monza 2013
I have no clue with what is going on in F1, but I'm just happy to see somebody post here!
Go Shamu!!
On that note, I was cleaning up things in my office today and found a signed picture of Takagi...

No, I didn't have spinach. But I used olive oil in preparing dinner though.

Re: Monza 2013
Good for me in our Fantasy League!!
But frankly otherwise, a bit of a foregone conclusion...
Vettel is a good driver: but Pole to Flag, in the best car, with only a flat-spotted front-right in the first stint to contend with, doesn't a stellar race make.
IMHO, Ricciardo showed today that he deserves his place in "Big School".
Ditto "The Hulk" showed that he deserves his place in a top-line team.
Lewis & Kimi completed some "This is how it should be done" overtakes, to demonstrate to the GP2 & GP3 children, er, how it should be done.
Webbo & Nando continued their "Eau Rouge - Maximum Respect" battle - adding weight to the lessons being taught by L&K.
But as a "Race"...?
Not awesome.
Singapore next:
I'm beginning to look forward, annually, to this "Night Race" - it definitely adds something with the lighting dynamics.
Maybe, just maybe, Lewis can get a win - with Finger-Boy a DNF - to keep the WDC alive?

Re: Monza 2013
Glad to hear The Hulk is doing himself proud. I was really impressed with his driving back in A1, especially in the wet.
Otherwise it seems it is business as usual.

A1 GP...!
S'trewth, that's going back some!
BTW - Adam Carroll is THE Driver Coach in the UK these days...
But fully agreed.
His "Work Ethic" with Willies was a template that the likes of Palmer & Bird have picked-up and run with these days. i.e. getting involved with the team at ALL levels (Construction / Design / Marketing / et al), even before actually driving a car in anger.
Mark my words: Sam Bird will be in an F1 seat, as soon as a team that doesn't need a "Renta-Driver" has an opening.
The Paddock is going to be watching Sauber very closely next season, should they actually run Esteban Gutierrez and Sergey Sirotkin in the two race seats...
