Monaco GP 2013 Empty Monaco GP 2013

Yet another chapter in the eso physical rehab saga. I just got home from the hospital where I checked into Monday for the reconstructive surgery. I think the procedure was over 3 hours. Several incisions, a few dozen staples, 2 plates and a handful of screws. It hurts like hell, but I'm rid of that damned external fixator and the pain now is for healing instead of being in limbo.

Let's see a Lotus pole... Not likely, but I'd like that.

Me too. I like Lotus.

Glad to hear you are on to healing! Take care, relax and enjoy the race. It is going to be cold an wet over here (and I think in Monaco). They have announced snow by our house tomorrow, and we are at the end of May!!! What the fuck!?

It is going to be a cold and possibly rainy Indy 500. Carb day today was full of crashes. We might see another 1994 race where half the field crashed due to cold weather.

Also, Takuma, Sato has been running lights out. He almost won two races in a row. This could be his year

That was quite the race finish TC. That's a once in a lifetime thing.

Well, looking at the qual results, it's a long shot but if Kimi can make it past webber and stay in front of Alonso at the start he's got a chance. The mercedes will peter out of long stints and the lotus could make better use of the tyres to dispatch vettel.

It's a long shot, but not impossible.
