Malaysia 2013
it looks like Lotus and Ferrari have played catch up, and are consistently fast judging by FP1 and FP2 times... another close season perhaps?
(i bloody hope so)
sadly, williams looks like it's gone backwards from last years gains.

It's also looking like the Lotus is easy on tyres. There should be some wet this weekend, and that will mix things up as well.

jeez williams and sauber have really gone backwards from last years pace. FI and STR have replaced them this year as the B-teams by the looks of things.

Kimi's picked-up a 3-place grid penalty for allegedly impeding Britney at some point during qually...or impeding Sutil during qually, depending on which website you read....
But no penalty for Checo when he definitely impeded, er, I can't remember - and no mention of it anywhere on t'interweb...!
*edit* Perez held up Hulkenberg in Q2 - http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/2013/03/23/2013-malaysian-grand-prix-qualifying-report/

I just hope it doesn't end like it did between Villeneuve and Pironi.

I missed it. From what I gathered....Seb acted like a petulant child and didn't let MW by? Was there more to it?

It was not so much that Seb did not let Webber by, it was more that he refused to stay behind him. The pass between Webber and the pitwall was pretty close...

Re: Malaysia 2013
Seb ignored team orders, the only problem I have is with his fake apology. He's not sorry one bit.
I understand Merc's position but Nico should have been on the podium today just as Lewis admitted. Props to Nico and Lewis for handling this maturely.

Wife wins.
Watch F1 versus taking Wife out to dinner?
Wife wins.
Webber versus Vettel?
I predict a divorce.
Webber versus RBR?
A very costly divorce - with auto-biography.

Props indeed to the two Merc pedallers...da silva wrote:Seb ignored team orders, the only problem I have is with his fake apology. He's not sorry one bit.

But the difference doesn't start or end there:
Ross is the "Old Skool" Headmaster, who rules with a quiet but firm hand, and has garnered natural respect from not just his two drivers, but from the whole paddock.
Horner is the new "Trendy Geography Teacher", good with the Popular Culture sound-bites & attitude, but pretty insubstantial when trying to control an unruly classroom.

Yep, he knew exactly what he was doing. He can say sorry all he likes but he's got the extra 7 points.

Agreed. Not sure what the harm was in letting Nico by since Lewis was painfully coasting to save fuel but I guess they have their orders and good on them for sticking by them.
Webber and Vettel should take note.
