MotoGP Indy
We had a good crowd today. I stopped by and took a look at Ducati Island. They opened it up so that we can see the track. I should have some pics Sunday.

Wow, we haven't even had the race and the shit hit the fan. Hayden out, Stoner possibly out, and another rider out from Friday. This repaving of the track the riders keep talking about is looking like a curse.

Re: MotoGP Indy
It does look bad. I would expect a number of riders complaining. There are already so few top riders, so losing out Hayden and possibly Stoner sucks.
But, I continue to be impressed by Bradl.

That was perfect weather for a race. Marquez in the Moto2 race was in a league of his own. Yamaha owes Spies an apology, he was let down. Lorenzo never had a chance to catch Pedrosa. The Ducati was outclassed hands down.

Re: MotoGP Indy
That was one of the most boring MotoGP races I have ever seen! Damn, I had the race with me to watch over lunch today, and nearly fell asleep.
I think Yamaha owes Spies more than an apology. First the swing arm breaking at Laguna and now the engine at Indy. I can fully understand that he doesn't want to stay with them, but I really wonder what is up though. Seriously, how can there be such a difference between the bikes? It looked like earlier Spies was struggling with his confidence, but that certainly was not the case yesterday.
As for the rest, yawn!
Still have to watch the Moto2 and Moto3 and hope for a better show.

Re: MotoGP Indy
Stunned.
First of all. Ben hasn't been allowed to use the spring rates he's wanted to. Yamaha has wanted Ben to use Jorge's spring rates. Of course Ben is 8 kilos more or so...So that would explain some of the tire issues. Since Ben is no longer going to be seeing updates they let him go with the Spring rates, and Viola! he's back on pace.
Ben did everything but Name Lin Jarvis as the thorn in his side. I can't wait to see if Ben calls him out at the end of the year. He probably won't.
The conspiracy theorists are freaking out about the bike failures. I kinda have to wonder.
Pedrobot won and it was boring. Vale can't ride the Duc and it was boring. Casey got beat by Dovi and it was boring.
Moto2 was cool just from Marquez's level of domination. I like the kid and can't wait to see him next year.
Moto3 was a interesting. I've really become a Vinales fan. I love a guy will to throw it down the road in lower classes to try and win.
The track workers were a nightmare. IMS needs to fix that for next year.
It was nice to see Q on SpeedTV...but seriously Scott Russell makes me want to kill myself. I watched the race with sound on my PC and the TV muted.
Looking forward to Brno, and see what fails for Ben next.
PS there is a lot of pissed Americans at Ben's treatment and bike failures...if it doesn't stop I believe Yamaha USA will feel it in their sales.

Ohhh...and Vinales better learn to race in the rain or he isn't going anywhere.

When Speed opts to use their local guys for commentary, I too want to hang myself. Nick Harris is light years ahead of Scott Russel.
