will we see 8 from 8 with another new driver winning the race?

wow silence......
that is a 'peppered' grid. top teams falling out in all Qualy sessions. well done to maldonado for P3.
FI finally look like a challenger for podiums
is it just me or does this street circuit lack crowds? the cam shots show very few grandstands

It's probably pretty empty because the circuit is causing a lot of controversy in Valencia right now. The city, as much of Spain, is pretty much bankrupt, and they have been on an insane of a spending spree over the last few years. Throwing huge amounts of money in to making this (crappy) street circuit when the city already has a very nice track is not going down too well, and has become a bit symbol of this stupid spending.
Also, Valencia is a motorcycle city. Expect more crowds at the MotoGP later in the year.

WOW! Another good one! NANdo showed his skill, good for him to win @ home. Kimi and M$ rounded out a great podium,
Hamilton thing? Not sure .
Vettel and Grosjean- sux for them, that's racing.
Amazingly, not a bore, even in French! Zoot alors!
Or Sacre' bleu?
Meme choix?

I'm actually looking forward to the races again. Yesterday race was quite exciting, and awesome for Nando.
Just as a note...the racing has been good enough that I'm even watching the pre and post race shows on SpeedTV...it's almost like I'm a fan again. LOL

Great race on what is definitely the worst track on the calendar. I was expecting it to be uneventful but it was anything other than!
Superb race by Alonso, undoubtedly helped by Vettel and Grosjean retiring AND the SC, but still he made no mistakes and jumped 8 spots legitimately...awesome!
Maldonado was just too aggressive. Having said that, I thought it was a bit silly Lewis trying to defend a position he had no chance of keeping because he was starting to lap seconds slower given his tyres were shot. Maldonado is a loose cannon at the best of times! You need to pick your battles, that wasn't one of them! You needn't fight every battle to win the war! But anyway, Lewis' campaign this year although unspectacular has been much more grounded and is how Championships are won. Thus far, his best season since his debut in 2007.
Grosjean, had tipped him for the win before the practice got under way - doh! Vettel had the race taken away from him, what with the SC stripping him of the 23 second lead and then the alternator failure.
Great result for Schumi and Webber.
