I have said it before
And I will say it again, Israel will kill their own people if it suits the most vile government on earth.
You may not of heard in the land-of-the-free, but Tuesday, former Israeli president Moshe Katsav was sentenced to seven years in prison for rape and other sexual offences. Also, on the same day, Israel killed 8 Palestinians in a bombing raid on Gazza, then lo-and-behold, the very next day, a bus is bombed in Jerusalem, the first for 7 years.
Now which of the three stories are making the headlines do you think?

Re: I have said it before
Co-incidence? Karma?
Or you've got cameras in my house DB...!
I've literally just been reading an article in Classic Rock presents Prog magazine, about the band Blackfield - a collaboration between Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree) and Aviv Geffen.
Here's a quick Aviv Geffen history: http://designermagazine.tripod.com/BlackfieldINT1.html
With a career stretching 12 years and a string of gold albums Aviv Geffen is one of Israel's most high profile and controversial artists. The nephew of Israel's Security Minister Moshe Dayan, Aviv rejected the macho stereotypes and national service and found himself as spokesperson for the young generation, in his words a mixture between Kurt Cobain and Bob Dylan.
And from Prog magazine: On stage he wore dresses & make-up, and tried to speak-out against the Israeli government, and against the Occupation of Palestine and Jerusalem.
He was performing at a rally in Tel Aviv's King's Square on November 4th 1995, watched by Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. As Geffen left the stage he heard shots fired and saw Rabin slump to the ground, killed instantly by an assassin. Geffen was the last person to hug Rabin before his death.
I'm not a Porcupine Tree fan, and so I was going to skip the article in Prog - but I'm glad that I read it now.
