Any fans here?

Can't say I'm a particular big fan but don't mind watching if it's on.

Just watched Vitali Klitschko smash Shannon Briggs for 12 rounds although couldn't knock him out.

Talking about it at work, I recalled a bout back in the mid 90s (guessing) where there was some clown with a ponytail (I think) who was running about and then charged at their opponent and was knocked down for the count pretty quickly.

Does anyone remember this and if so who the boxers were? I can't seem to find it and my memory is very vague!

i'm a bit the same... but i reckon the mixed matial arts ultimate fighter stuff is way more interesting... whenever i watch boxing i cant help but think how quickly a mixed martial arts guy half their size would have them tapping out with a pinky lock or something lol

nfi about names or dates for any of it though...

MMA makes boxing (most of the time) look like pillow fighting.

MMA is such an art form....BJJ is the most dangerous and elegant form of fighting I've ever seen. To watch an MMA fight with two BJJ masters who aren't going to punch it out but roll is amazing. I like watching Nate Diaz...never looks like that kid should win a fight...and BLAMMO!!! the other guy taps.
