Button to Maclaren
Holy Fak!!
What an arse. He will be crucified by Hammy and the team. There will be no equal status and if there were, he would still be crucified.
So who now to Brawn? Nick?
Will Nico or Nick finally win a race?
Oh so much fun, so much fun!

Re: Button to Maclaren
Pre-empting a certain "Hunt the Shunt" much...
And because I know you, I know that you're a cynic....!
But back on-topic: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/80202
This made me cheer with a clenched-fist in-the-air...
"We all think we are up there with the best of them, but when you look at it you don't know if you are better than someone else unless you are racing against them in the same car," Button said.
"You can say you are the best in the world and you can feel you are the best in the world but you never know until you go head to head with them."
Ayrton & Michael in the same car...?
Mika & Michael in the same car...?
Jackie Stewart and Nigel Mansell...?
Fangio and Michael...?
Me and Sarah-Jane...The fires are burning in another land,
Don't start counting, don't start counting.
Colder and colder, the ice is moving closer
And it gets me down.
Going round and round and down the same old track.
Personally, I reckon that Jenson has the character and political nouse to challenge Lewis...and in the nicest possible way - i.e. without high-speed Teddy ejaculation รก la Nando...
Jenson to McLaren...? IMHO =
If I didn't know you Shunt, I'd accuse you of being a cynic...!Financially he is still being paid by Ferrari, so he will get his $18 million salary.
On the plus side, any drive has to be more exciting than F1.
As for McLaren, they have got the cheap option with Button on GBP 6 million a year (a lot less than Hamilton) and the No. 1 on their car.
Button knows he cannot live up to the hype surrounding him, so trundling along behind Lewis all season will suit him.
And because I know you, I know that you're a cynic....!

OK, who is Shunt?
Gelert, I would not disagree with any of the above, although I do not know what penile emissions have to do with any of this....or do you mean Teddy out of a high speed pram?!?
But I almost would put money on him getting trounced. Nice guys do not Finn-ish first very often.

From what I hear, Hunt is looking to enact Sharia Law to ensure Theirry Henry has both hands chopped off, before he is allowed to play football again.
I have to say, I agree with him, and nominate that Thierry Henry be put in the Worlds Sports "Hall of Shame" along with Maradona (Football World Cup Mexico 1986), and Micheal Schumaker (F1 Adelaide 1994) , as sports people who have cheated and got away with it.

Saw it on the news this morning - what a classic...!Danny Boy wrote:Werner wrote:OK, who is Shunt?

But as Henry said, "I am not the referee"...and he allegedly admitted to doing what he did to one of the Irish players.
So, "Fat-Welsh-and-owner-of-Millwall-and-Moulinex-Magichef" bloke and Shunt agree for once...
High speed Teddy ejaculation...? LOL - wrong spell-checker option selected...!

That's pretty cool.
Do you think anyone even started that build up? Let alone taking it out on track...

Re: Button to Maclaren
I'm gonna guess not. The only thing I would have done different is to have them ask Whitmarsh to take the car out for a drive, thus keeping the tables appropiatley turned.

I'm sure that I can see some McLaren testing going on in the background, during that "Film Day"...

Come to think of it, there might have been a lot of Lotus testing going on as well...Gelert wrote:I'm sure that I can see some McLaren testing going on in the background, during that "Film Day"...
