WSBK Kyalami Empty WSBK Kyalami

Wow, I almost forgot there was another race this weekend! I thought it was next weekend actually, but that is MotoGP at Le Mans. So, this morning I got the two races from Sunday to watch...

As Ben had suspected while he was at Monza, the Ducati was working much better at the bumpy Kyalami circuit. In race one, Fabrizio took off, and was able to manage his lead until the end. Behind him there were some good fights, but the race was not all that exciting. Well except perhaps the pass Rea managed near the end. I still don't really get how he passed two riders in one move...

Race 2 however was something else. There was a group up front that fought for the lead the whole damn race. Rea was quick in taking the lead, and close behind him was Haslam, Biaggi and Crutchlow. Excellent fight between the four, with an outstanding Haslam who took the lead in the penultimate lap and then was able to hold it until the end. Great stuff!!

Nope. I was supposed to work in the Pirelli pits schlepping tires....but between me being sick as hell last week and now my wife and kid being sick were not going anywhere.

My wife thought it was a bad idea to send me to WSBK in Utah by myself....I wonder why! Very Happy
