Here is the track lay out for Austin.

Counterclockwise and the first coner is very reminiscent of Sao Paolo grandprix.
Looks like it could be a good track despite Tilke designing it.
Anybody wanna go??[b]

It reminds me of Abu Dhabi.

Up-hill start...and then some, if Werner's graphic is correct...
Looks good on "paper". But only if they make it wide enough...looks a bit "skinny" on the graphic - and the wrong colour as well...stay on the "black stuff" shurely...?
Go Lewis...!

They are expecting $200-400 mil brought into the economy each year. With a capacity of 140k that means that each person would have to spend $1430 just to hit the 200 mil mark. That is very high if you ask me. Plus we see that the race might be pushed back a year.

Yeah, those figures sound high to me, but figure the teams, sponsors and jet-setters will push the average up by a good margin.
As Werner said, it does look interesting despite Tilke designing it. More elevation change than anything he's designed. Elevation changes are a good thing.
I would certainly go at least once. Perhaps we could have another western hemisphere reunion there.
