Since Kimis exit from F1 and a lot of his fans leaving this forum, we have not been getting any news from the finnish reporters. The one in particular that i'm referring to is Heikki Kulta at TS, who is considered as a very reliable source who does not have an personal agenda.

Anyway, I thought you might find what he wrote yesterday interesting. On the contrary to all that's been reported by the media, and especially what's been said by the Mercedes representatives, Nico and Michael does not get along at all. Team insiders are saying that it is so bad that many of the engineers have asked to get relieved from their work at the track to get assigned to the factory. It is said that the harmony that was between Button and Barichello is gone. The reason for all this started in Australia when Nicos engineers wanted to see Michaels telemetry and the man himself refused.

Nico and Michael are beeing all smiles in front of the media but behind the scenes they don't talk to each, other than work matters.

Yet Nico spanked him in qualifying today. Revenge is sweet.

M$ looked totally out of his depth today, 3 times Brawn tactics put him several places up the order (without M$ actually overtaking anybody) only for a string of drivers to pass him in the next few laps (something that only happened to his team-mate once). I'm not sure how many times he was overtaken, at least 10 maybe as many as 15 times, can't see Mercedes putting up with this crap driving much longer.

The demise of M$ is a laff a minute at the moment, read this from the BBC "Martin Brundle is desperate to get a good look at the Red Bull but some very burly mechanics are standing at the back of the car to protect it from prying eyes. Even team boss Christian Horner tries to move him on. Mercedes chief Ross Brawn is asked why Michael Schumacher is off the pace and he simply replies: "Good question." Interesting.

Wow, Nico is 2nd, where did that come from? Meanwhile MS is some 40 points adrift, he can still catch up quickly thanks to the new points system but man, isn't that the exact opposite of the pre-season's out-of-control-MS-hysteria-hype

You missed a very good race, plenty of action and position changes due to the weather.

button and Rosberg had very little to do as they just sat a the front all race, but the others were changing places with enjoyable frequency.

Lewis drove the best race and Alonso pulled a stroke on a half asleep Massa, M$ was up to his old tricks and went straight through a corner trying to take Hamilton's nose off, but Lewis eased off and then passed M$ as if he was out for a Sunday drive to the local picnic area.

Button - Excellent decision making again.
Hamilton - Just the most exciting, fastest race car driver on the planet.
Rosberg - Great drive.
Alonso - Looks like he's beginning to destroy Ferrari team harmony already with his naughty move into the pitlane on Massa.
Kubica - Great drive.
Vettel - What a pice of work this kid is, the move to squeeze Lewis in the pilane is one off the most dangerous things I've seen in a long time.
Petrov - I'm immensely impressed with this kid.
Webber - In over his head.
Massa - Where's the fire?
Schumacher - Bwahahahaha!

Imagine the fun had he not chickened out and gone against Kimi in the summer of 2009, Badoer's performances would have been eclipsed

unless something drastic changes, i think there will be vacancies at mercedes, ferrari, and red bull next year next season. all the number 2 drivers will be unemployed. pity that kubica couldnt be put into a red bull.

#1 See no evil, Hear no evil, Speak no evil -- what pitlane incident? Now if he wasn't aware of any wheel banging on all three phases -- pit lane entry, release, or the exit, I'm wondering what his overall awareness level/scope is.

#2 related topic. It is an asset and probably a prerequisite to becoming a WDC GP driver to be a narcissistic sociopath, but trying to run your team mate down at the end of a foregone conclusion clearly demonstrates his commitment to the team.

#3. Rules, what rules? Probably legal, but pushed Weber right off the track at the (what, second?) Safety Car restart? I was PVRing through this thing pretty fast -- my TV-watching budget was running out of minutes yesterday, since a MLB pitcher threw a no-hitter and another game went 20 innings.

I still think the variable airflow F-duct is illegal and if not, violates the spirit of the rules. What probably saves it is that the driver has to activate it, and it isn't an automatic system. It makes as much sense to me as the damper in the Renault nose-cone being judged "an active aerodynamic device". WTF?

I would be very, very interested in seeing a throttle/brake/steering overlay between Rosberg and M$. Sad to say, I think the old man is finished. Its a contest of milliseconds and millimeters, and even though the sword may be sharp, its not razor-sharp.

The saftey car line was before the last turn, which means they can race. Vettel tried to force his way up the inside and Lewis was pushed wide which in turn forced that loser Webber off the track. This was all the result of Button's stupid restart, but not against the rules in any shape or form.

Lewis is a hard charger, no doubt about that, he's a racer through and through but a douche he is not. Lewis has a great relationship with Jenson, take a look at what's going on at Ferrari with the poison spaniard. Now tell me who the douche is.

As for Lewis and Sebastian's pitlane incident I submit this for your viewing. Notice that nobody is forcing anyone off the road.

People you just have to calm down! It's far too early in the season to talk about Alonso being poison for my team! Whether I like it or not, Flippy is not performing like the driver he had grown into, it will obviously take him some time to get back to his old self. My team has had some bad luck the past few races but I'm confident that we will be ok. As for Fernando poisoning the team, everyone is watching him, he will have been spoken to about the pitlane incident with Flippy I'm sure. That was a very stupid move, as was jumping the start He has been very well behaved so far, so I will give him the benefit of the doubt this time.

As for Schummi, I'm sorry but I can't help but smile to myself. All those people who said that Ferrari would be nothing without Schummi can now eat their words. I hope that now everyone knows the difference, Ferrari will endure but Michael Schumacher will fade away and be only known as another driver who was lucky enough to drive for them.

To you Pete, he may not have done exactly what Micheal has but he is not far off. He has already blatantly lied to the FIA, whether or not he was coerced by his team to do so is irrelevant, and he did so again yesterday, blatantly may I add. He is not very good at it because his body language, tone, and appearance reminded me of my children when they tried to pull a fast one over me.
