We've started racing again in the Southwest USA.

A bit of relief while we wait for the continent to wake up and give me my damn MotoGP and WSBK!

Henrik...what have you heard about Jason DiSalvo taking Garry McCoy's spot?

Anything else from the rumor mill there?

We are getting Hopkins hysteria here with John coming back to the AMA....plus some other thing I can't think of.

H8R...we get our first Track Day in February!!!

I feel like I've been off the bike for months and I'm craving a couple of good runs!!! I can't imagine how the folks up north feel.

Ohhh, I got my fairings done, and I'm doing a little maintenance work on the bike. I'll definitely shoot you a few pics of the new look, when I do my first track day. I'm actually looking into getting my license this year! Whaa-whoooooo, but I seriously doubt anything too exciting will come of it. A license and maybe a few competative races??? I'll keep you updated!

In the meantime, YOU keep the shiney side up and be safe!

I am going nuts here! I haven't taken the bike out since October, and the snow just keeps falling. They have actually announced more snow this afternoon. I think it will not be until March at the earliest that I will actually be able to take the bike out, so I really don't need to hear about you riding!

As to rumours, I have not heard anything in particular. I guess I should probably give my friend from the FIM a call....

As far as getting to the track last week I was at las Vegas Speedway on Friday for Practice....Saturday at the California Speedway for a trackday....and Sunday at Firebird Raceway for a trackday. 3 Days, 1100 miles, and 3 tracks....not a bad weekend.

Are you planning on attending any MotoGP or WSBK races this year? I am looking at the schedules and trying to decide upon the ones I want to go to right now...helps pass the time...

Most likely Miller. I have several of my Pirelli racers who are trying to position themselves for wildcards for either WSS or WSBK. Other than that...no real plans...My weekends are fucked until August I think...I'd love to go to Laguna or Indy...but trying to convince the wife that we should take a weekend off to go to another track is really pushing it.

Still, it doesn't look like I will be riding any time soon. But when the roads will finally be clear and dry, at least I can comfort myself with the fact that I live in motorcycle riding paradise.

Back at the track this weekend for a two day race weekend.

I hate to let you guys down...but I'm working at the track(s)...not riding.

Of course I get to watch great racing...live...but no riding for me. :-(

I'll try and post some pics of this weekend.

I'm actually thinking of re-watching some of the races from last year, like maybe Barcelona...

Wha-whoooooo...I get to pick my bike up tonight from the customer shop. Couldn't handle getting the upper fairing off (fear of breaking something), and the guy went ahead an affixed my new fairings while it was there. I'm excited...can't wait to get out and run some...

Henrik, I promise to drag a knee (or two) for you. H8R...watching is fascinating, especially when they're talented. I can stand there gawking (track side) for hours. Anyways, I'm still envious...hope to do some carving real soon!!!
